Mission
CORPEX mission is to improve the presence of SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) industries on the North Shore within the international market and favorise their potential in export development, as well as diversifying and increasing businesses on the North Shore.
Objectives
- Introduce SME industries to export possibilities;
- Organise training seminars adapted to export industries for their specific needs and to familiarise them with export procedures;
- Assist SME Industries in their export process;
- Favorise alliances and consortiums to assure the expansion of PME Industries by export business.

Territory
The North Shore is one of the second most expanded regions in the province of Quebec, a territory covering over 236 700 km2.
In 2000, the total population of our region was approximately 102 146 grouped in 36 municipalities, the two most populated areas are Sept-Îles (25 172 population) and Baie-Comeau (24 676 population).
Members
Any North Shore SME involved in exports or any Organism or Association can become a member of CORPEX inc., by submitting the application form and by paying the annual membership fee.
Board of directors
Administrators are North Shore businessmen and businesswomen operating in many fields and most are active in the export business. The board of directors must represent diversity in the export business. To fully represent our region, the seats are distributed on the six (6) North Shore territories.
